Deputy Chief Operating Officer
Non-profit organization seeking a Deputy Chief Operating Officer responsible for ensuring that migrant farm workers in Indiana are cognizant of all services provided by State agencies and their community representatives to which patients are entitled. Supervision is exercised over staff statewide. Work requires originality, initiative and ingenuity to manage an important function involving a number of activities. Work often requires creative thinking and is characterized by its application of original thinking to new situations. Work is reviewed by reports, conferences and observation of results obtained. Obtains profit contribution by managing staff; establishing and accomplishing business objectives.
Responsibilities include clinic operations, staffing, budgeting, and supervision. Participates in the formulation of necessary reports for funding sources; reviews records required to generate reports; assures compliance with federal, state and other regulations. Must be business oriented, have strong administrative skills, health care background, proven leadership skills, experience administering grants, and able to work in a team environment. Experience with the vulnerable population and strong computer skills a must. Some in-state travel is required.

* Coordinates efforts by establishing procurement, production, marketing, field, and technical services policies and practices; coordinating actions with corporate staff.
* Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.
* Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited college or university, 5 years healthcare experience preferably in social and/or migrant programs, and two (2) to three (3) years prior administrative/supervisory experience. Bi-lingual a plus. EOE
