Data / Reports Analyst
We are searching for a Data Analyst with VB.NET and SQL/MS Access reporting skills to join our team in Santa Ana, CA This is a unique opportunity to use your expertise to design and run reports and queries for our Broker Commissions department.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Creation of ad hoc and standard reports in SQL and MS Access
• Provide reporting and analytics support for our Sales Commissions Team
• Automation of standard and parameter-driven reports via SQL and VB.NET
• Presenting reporting results to senior staff
• Database Creation and Management in SQL environment
• Participating in other projects as needed
• Conducting testing and coordinating UAT
Qualifications
Prior experience in a Reporting Analyst role that involved working with data and data warehouses and creating reports and stored procedures is required. Experience gathering requirements, working with end users and handling other Business Analyst duties would be ideal. VB.NET, SQL, MS Access and relational database expertise are all essential. Business Objects, Crystal Reports, and MS Reporting Services skills would all be helpful. A Bachelor's degree is required.
The chosen candidate will possess:
• Significant SQL and MS Access reporting experience
• VB.NET development experience is a must
• Many years of experience designing and implementing queries and reports
• Require understanding of business processes as they impact analytics
• MS office proficiency; especially Excel skills
• QA background
• Organizational skills
