Join us, do rewarding work, and build a great career.   Primary Responsibilities:Makes copies of materials needed to facilitate processing of claims Enters required pharmacy information to generate Medi-Cal submissions Enters zero account balances in Medsoft program Enters pharmacy charges and payment information in Medsoft program Make and accept necessary telephone calls to facilitate claims submission Assist Revenue Recovery Supervisor with administrative task for completion of the monthly N-A Assist Revenue Recovery Billing Specialists staff with filing of forms and claims Complete and submit all pharmacy claim forms for reimbursement Request medical records for Tar completion Assist in maintenance of Medi-Cal manuals/updates Provide feedback and suggestions to improve workflow and procedures Maintains confidentiality of patient identifying data Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the Project/Division Qualifications:High School diploma required Prior data entry experience required Basic proficiency in MS Word and Excel is required Position hours are 6:00am - 2:30pm Prior experience working in a pharmacy is preferred Knowledge of Medical terms is a huge plus Medi-CAL and Medical Billing experience preferred  Ability to accept and understand complex directions Flexibility in assuming varying tasks and assignments Ability to quickly and accuracy use alpha/numeric filing systems Team player with a positive attitude Good communication skills and legible handwriting are necessaryDiversity creates a healthier atmosphere: equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V UnitedHealth Group is a drug-free workplace.  Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment.
