The Data and Reconciliation Analyst will focus on building and maintaining reconciliation processes/systems and reporting for Medicare and Medicaid health plans. Primary Responsibilities:Manipulating member data in MS Access, Excel, SQL Server, and Visual Basic/VBA Working with Business Analysts to design, build, and update databases, applications, and reports to perform monthly reconciliation for statuses and payment Generating, reconciling, and auditing monthly discrepancy lists/detail reports Own at least one payment category for reconciliation - coordinating research of the monthly discrepancies and reporting on statusQualifications: Requirements: 2-4 years of advanced skills in MS Access and Excel 1-3 years of data and reporting analysis experience 1-3 years of system analysis and design experience A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or Business Assets: SAS and/or Visual Basic programming experience Business analysis experience Medicare and/or Medicaid experience A background in the healthcare industry Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to document requirements and system functionality Ability to work independently, confirm priorities, and meet deadlines Extremely ethical and honestUnitedHealth Group offers a full range of comprehensive benefits to full-time and part-time employees, including medical, dental and vision, as well as a matching 401k and an employee stock purchase plan.
