JOB SUMMARY
The HealthMatics EDI Analyst works on client/server and web based EDI projects throughout the software lifecycle, from requirements analysis, release management and support. Work with existing EDI clients providing communication and product support.
JOB DESCRIPTION Analyze problems and resolve technical issues from technical support team Provide technical consulting to customers to address system issues and recommend solutions Works with customers to provide Edi Services. Understand the cost and time constraints imposed by the project plan on assigned tasks and raise flags whenever the likelihood of a cost or time overrun becomes apparent Setup necessary development and test environments Perform other duties as assigned Cultivate attitudes of open communication and team building Share experience and research information Code and track time daily for all assigned tasks Maintain a thorough understanding of quality, schedule, and cost, and of the impact of these areas on the product development process Maintain awareness of A4’s corporate policies and procedures as they pertain to roles and responsibilities; suggest new and better ways of doing things Continue to enhance skills through reading, mentoring, and training (either external or internal)
QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of Oracle SQL Server a MUSTKnowledge of Windows communication Experience with ASP, XML, and HTTP is a plus Excellent communication (written and oral) and team-work skills. Ability to identify, prioritize and execute tasks to meet critical project deadlines. Ability to work with minimal supervision, adhering to overall department and company procedures. Good judgment and the ability to come up with solid solutions and recommendations to a wide range of complex problems on their own. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required.
