DRG Claims Auditor - Michigan DRG Claims Auditor - Michigan CGI, an international IT and managed services organization, has opened a career track opportunity for a DRG Claims Auditor. This position will be based out of the auditor's home office in Michigan, but will report to the HQ office in Cleveland, OH. Travel throughout the State of Michigan will be required (approximately 50%). Accordingly, this individual will be responsible for reviewing medical records, primarily inpatient/outpatient, and other related medical information to determine if diagnostic codes (ICD-9-CM) and procedures are accurate and payments are consistent with the respective reimbursements, and refer cases to physicians or nurses when indicated. To qualify, candidates must have an associate (RHIT) or bachelor degree (RHIA) and CPC-H or CCS credentials and proficiency in ICD-9-CM and CPT coding and computer literacy.
