DIRECTOR - HOSPITAL FINANCE OPERATIONS

We currently seek a Director of Hospital Finance Operations at our Mount Carmel East, Mount Carmel West and Mount Carmel St. Ann’s locations to lead the development and implementation of all financial aspects of the Mount Carmel Health System strategic plan involving the hospital. Responsibilities include providing financial expertise to the Hospital Leadership Team; monitoring daily activity, gross revenue, operating expenses, etc.; leading monthly review of operating results for the hospital; coordinating revenue cycle initiatives; analyzing variances from budget on a monthly basis; preparing financial projections for new projects; and coordinating the hospital’s operating and capital budget. Candidates must have an MBA or be working towards completion along with a BA or BS in business administration or cognate field; CPA preferred; 5+ years of progressively challenging management experience in finance or public accounting, with experience in effectively exercising supervisory responsibilities involving accounting, tax and financial planning functions in a complex healthcare organization; and ability to organize, plan and direct staff and manage the financial activities of a large financial services department.
