We are currently seeking a talented, self-motivated Customer Service Representative to join our Sercive Center team.  This position is based at our corporate headquarters in Austin, TX

 

SUMMARY OF PURPOSE:

Answers incoming calls and dispatches Field Service Engineers.  Provides administrative support to the Field Service Organization.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Answers telephone.  Dispatch – Determine whether customer needs phone support or needs their Field Service Engineer (FSE) paged.  Assist in the maintenance of setting up and maintaining vendor and customer files .   Enter Customer and FSE part requests into order entry systems .Maintain service and installation documentation for all medical devices.Point of contact for service contract maintenance, insuring contracts are submitted, executed, and entered into system for proper billing.Assists FSE’s and in-office employees with administrative support, as needed.Assists in planning and coordinating office events.Perform other work related duties as assigned.



POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

1.  High school Diploma or equivalent required.

2.  Two years customer service/clerical experience required; 1-2  years experience as a Customer Service Representative preferred.

3.  Strong verbal and interpersonal skills. 

4.  Ability to organize and prioritize work.

5.  Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel.

6.  Experienced and/or capable of working in a data base and entering data accurately.

7.  Effective communication and interpersonal skills necessary to interact professionally and courteously with management and other personnel. 

8.  Must be able to communicate effectively by telephone, e-mail and in person with customers, co-workers and supervisors.

9.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

10.  Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

11.  A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. 

12.  Requires ability to handle irate customers, good judgment on tough decisions, and ability to resolve complex situations
