Customer Service Representative

First and Second shifts available Shift: 1 General Responsibilities: MoneyGram International has exciting opportunities for Customer Support Representatives to join our team in Brooklyn Center, MN! The Customer Support Representative (CSR) I will act as the first point of contact for customers using eMoneyTransfer, MoneyGram's online money wire transfer product. This position will provide support to customers, via phone, by providing timely and professional issue resolution relating to basic customer service inquires regarding: account set-up, account login, profile modification, password reset, product questions and assistance with eMoney Transfer website navigation. Additional responsibilities include: o Analyzing data to determine root cause and provide solutions. o Monitoring evolving fraud threats o Reporting suspicious customer activity to the Transaction Security team o Notifying departmental system administrator of technical system issues. *1st and 2nd shifts available.* Skills and Experience Required: -The ability to model the Corporate Values of Respect, Courage, Passion, Teamwork and Integrity. (required) -High school diploma or GED. (required) -A minimum of 1 year customer service / call center experience. (required) -Excellent verbal and written communication skill. (required) -Strong problem solving ability. (required) -Adapts easily to change. (required) -Proficient keyboarding, PC, and Microsoft Word skills. (required) -Experience with MS Excel. (desired) -Previous experience with on-line, ACH and Credit Card transactions. (desired) -Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high call volume environment . (required) Special Considerations: -The Electronic Operations Center provides customer support from 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Monday through Sunday. All incumbents should have the flexibility to work varying shifts as business needs dictate. Further, incumbents must be flexible, able to respond to changing business needs, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
