Better Living Now, Inc. is a leading mail order and online medical supply, DME, and pharmacy based on Long Island, New York. We are seeking team-oriented people to join our fast growing company!
We are currently looking for Customer Service and Processing Representatives. Part-Time, Full-Time. ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE!
Job Description
Customer Service Representative Answers incoming phone calls and routes calls to appropriate party Takes and follows-up on orders from patients/clients/referrals Maintains open communications with patients/clients/referrals Responds to patient/client questions and problems Provides service to walk-in customers Verifies delivery and pick-ups of equipment/supplies Completes patients health record, and insurance information for Medicaid, Medicare and Private Insurance Forwards insurance information to billing department for verification
Processing Representative Reads intake sheets of the order to ascertain correct utilization, billing entity, correct product catalog number, refills, patient demographics and correct order release date. Confers with order requester when additional information is necessary to facilitate completion of order. Processes order through AS400 computer system. Examines completed reproduced material for adherence to insurance guidelines and company policy. Keeps supply of standard forms and issues forms as requested.
Requirements Self Motivated Well Mannered and Professional Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
