Job Description Florida Hospital East Orlando is a 244 bed hospital that provides sophisticated health care close to home for East Orange County residents.  Our Clinical Staffing Resources (CSR) department serves as an internal staffing pool. With 31 PCU beds, RN's administer care to patients with a variety of diagnosis. The nurse to patient ratio is 4:1 with assistance from patient care technicians. There is a nurse manager or charge nurse available for each shift. The unit also has trained Monitor Technicians and Health Unit Coordinators to complete orders and answer phones for the nursing staff. The Multi-system Intensive Care Unit (ICU) features 24 beds and is located on the 4th floor of our new West Tower. Our Multi-System Intensive Care unit is a combined medical and surgical unit. The nurses on this unit care for patients with multi-system disorders, ranging from acute coronary conditions to multi-organ failure. This ICU also supports patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring, ventilators and intra-aortic balloon therapy.
