Credentialing Coordinator

Quality Health Plans, Inc., a growing Medicare Advantage company is looking for a Credentialing Coordinator to

maintain the company’s organization of credentialing and re-credentialing files. 

 

The Credentialing Coordinator’s responsibilities consist of the following:

·  Review Credentialing/Re-Credentialing Applications

·  Perform Primary Source Verification

·  Send Approval Letters to Providers

·  Notify Departments of Credentialed Providers

·  Load Credentialed Providers in Database and appropriate spreadsheets

·  Update provider changes in database

·  Print & process monthly re-credentialing reports

·  Print & process monthly Office Inspector General reports

·  Print & process monthly Department Of Health reports

·  Departmental projects as assigned

 

Applicant must have MS Word experience and spreadsheet application knowledge of the credentialing process.  Must have experience within the healthcare insurance industry, physician’s office and/or other healthcare facility.  Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment are essential.
