Corporate Training Manager

Position: Training Manager  Responsibilities:  In this role, the Training Manager will create a positive learning environment and to ensure programs are in alignment with objectives and training plans to meet long and short term goals. Responsibilities will be in Collection Training, Corporate Training, Budget, Staff Training, Development, and Documentation. Training: Facilitate Professional Collection Specialist Training and Certification and lecture on Fair Debt    Collection Practices Act, and state regulations as well as compliance requirements Corporate Training Training Manager will identify training needs throughout the corporation, and will work with  Department Managers to coordinate programs in each area. The Manager will also conduct   training on RightFax, Filebound, Defibrillator. Budget: The Training Manager will be involved in training programs for the budget for each area. Department Requirements Each department will have Training Assistants – the TM will train each Department Assistant  thoroughly in their responsibilities for each of their departments.  Other requirements include   evaluating instructor performance and training effectiveness, providing recommendations for  improvement, and supervising Mentor Program.  Creation and facilitation of incentives and   contests as well as coordination of events will also be a primary responsibility of this role.  Development:  The Training Manager will develop, plan, and train staff development in each department by   designing and developing training materials, manuals, e-learning and web-based programs, as well as self-directed evaluation and assessment materials  Cross-functional training skills will be essential in this role as group leaders and teams will work in collaboration on several key initiatives.  The Training Manager will conduct regular meetings with Department Heads to determine and identify training requirements for each department.  External requirement will be to develop  offsite client training on a regular basis .   Quality:  The TM will be expected to monitor the effectiveness and make recommendations for each Department   and External Training program. Additional, the TM will oversee quality Assurance programs to   ensure  compliance requirements are met and that progress is monitored on each participant.  Policy  and procedural changes will be implemented by the TM.  Requirements:  2 years of  previous classroom training experience required, call center training experience preferred Positive Attitude Leadership by Example Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills Follow directions Work well with diverse personalities and situations Work effectively in both team and independent environments Innovative and creative Education Undergraduate Degree or similar experience       Built on more than 30 years of expertise, The Mergis Group is a specialty recruiting firm committed to helping professionals make the best career choices.
