Position Summary

 

Responsible for conducting training programs for employees of AIM Healthcare Services, Inc. by performing the following duties:

 Essential Job Functions:

 

1. Conducts training sessions covering specified areas such as new employee orientation, on-the-job training, use of computers and software, customer service, sales techniques, health and safety practices, refresher training, general development, and leadership development.

2. Participate in needs analysis studies to determine training needs within the organization.

3. Confers with customers to gain knowledge of specific work situations requiring employees to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies.

4. Works in conjunction with the Instructional Designer to formulate course outlines, select or develop teaching aids, manuals, and other necessary training materials, select or develop testing and participant evaluation methods.

5. Administers tests to measure progress and evaluate effectiveness of training.

6. Reports on progress of employees under guidance during training periods.

7. Address performance issues with trainees

8. Provides feedback to Instructional Designer regarding design of training curriculum and methods to improve effectiveness.

9. Maintains regular and effective communication with the Training Manager.

Minimum Requirements

 

To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or ability required to perform the essential functions. 

 Education/Experience

 

Bachelor’s degree.  One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Computer knowledge of current word processing and spreadsheet software preferred.  Travel required 10-20% of the time.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle feel; talk or hear.  The vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
