The Coordinator II, IRB will provide administrative support to the Human Subjects Protection Program (HSPP) office and the Committee on Clinical Investigations (CCI) using established procedures to process research protocols, provide support to the investigators, and draft correspondence. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a Business or Scientific discipline, or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience. Two years experience in challenging office or other work environment Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required: Broad knowledge of federal and state regulations, and ethical principles pertaining to human subject research. Skill with PC-based word-processing and database application programs. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to write concise, accurate, grammatically correct reports and correspondence; communicate effectively orally and in writing; prioritize workload and handle changing work assignments; handle large volumes of work with frequent interruptions; maintain accurate records; coordinate and schedule complex meetings; maintain confidential information; understand and carry out written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions; deal effectively with new situations; seek supervision when necessary; work independently and as part of a team.
