The SBAs are also involved in IT production readiness activities related to the transition of major projects from the development phase to a production environment. TECHNICAL / KNOWLEDGE SKILLS Broad knowledge of System Development structures and protocols as defined by System Life Cycle methodologies. Good overall understanding of core operating systems in support of claims processing, enrollment and billing, financial applications, customer relationship, provider service and/or medical management activities. Systems development experience, including working with business owners in defining detailed requirements, working with technical staff to review technical design documents and supporting overall implementation activities Familiarity and experience in system development activities within mainframe, client server and web environments. Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), MS Project and Visio. Experience in the use of various tools and techniques associated with business requirements definition and design, including Use Cases, Wireframes, etc. In depth knowledge of health care and insurance products, service delivery systems and/or health care financial systems. Experience w/ Interface design and development and knowledge of legacy interface feeds Experience developing design artifacts like data mapping documents, use cases, sequence and activity diagrams, requirements decomposition Ability to interpret functional and non-functional requirements into logical design components Any experience or exposure to service oriented architecture (SOA) design Experience designing reports layouts and specifications Experience with conversions design Prior experience interacting with vendors and trading partners that will participate in the design process Ability to influence, negotiate and effectively participate in cross-functional teams with system vendors, customers, corporate partners and peers. Excellent written and oral communications skills.
