Collection Manager

Job Summary:

Overall responsibility for the accounts receivable / billing process. Ensure that billing for Medicare, Medicaid, insurance, and private pay are processed correctly and collected in a timely manor. Identify the regulatory, compliance and staffing needs and make recommendations for planning strategies. Provide management with reports on billing and accounts receivable activity.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 Supervise the accounts receivable / billing process for several facilities. Oversee the billing of Medicare, Medicaid and other payor sources. Document, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and operational requirements. Ensure staff at each location is trained on policies and procedures related to accounts receivable and billing. Coordinate compliance activities with other departments and sources as necessary. Prepare and present periodic reports for the management team, auditors, and others.

 

 

Qualifications:

·         Eextensive experience billing for home care agencies required

·         Minimum 7 years experience

·         Proficient computer skills including MS Office products.

·         Good communication skills.

·         Home Health Care experience preferredCollege degree preferredOpportunity for advancement
