Description
Position Description and Responsibilities
Best Doctors is currently seeking a Physician Support Coordinator/ FBD Specialist who will be responsible for the coordination of Physician data, and completing the incoming requests for physician searches (FBD’s) for our members.
Primary Responsibilities:Facilitates the Find Best Doctor, and InterConsultation WorkflowAnswers incoming US Group Health calls and documents in software applicationCoordinates the request of medical records or other medical information Coordinates the receipt and tracking of medical records or other medical information Frequently communicates with members on the status of their caseProvides gathered medical information/medical records to Medical Consultant Maintains filing and storage systems Works with Senior Clinical Support Representatives to centralize information and verify completion of informationFormats reports, translations, and supporting documentation Returns all medical information to their source Conducts physician searches, contacts medical offices and creates biographies of physicians

Requirements
The key qualifications for the Clinical Support Services Representative include: Associates degree or commensurate experience 3 to 4 years experience in a professional office environment; hospital, physician, or other medical environment preferred Strong organizational skills is a mustAbility to work independently with minimal supervision is required Proficiency using technology including computers, software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. A minimum of 40 WPM typing skills required Ability to manage work, multi-task, and utilize superior problem-solving skills is required Knowledge of medical terminology is required
