Genesis HealthCare is looking for a Systems Analyst to join our Information Systems team in Kennett Square, PA.Understand the role and impact of clinical information systems required in support of long term care delivery.Work with clinical customers to identify, develop, support and implement clinical based solutions that will optimize patient care.Understand federal and state regulations in order to provide system compliance.Facilitate the requirements gathering and workflow analysis.Participate in quality assurance testing of new software releases.Provide senior analyst level support for new software selection, configuration, and analytical production issues.Function as the liaison between the vendor, customers and internal/external development areas.Drive the process required to meet business customer requests, government regulations or to build interfaces with other systems.Become the system expert, focusing on clinical functionality.Participate on interdisciplinary project teams.Provide demonstrations of software applications to clinical customers.

Qualifications:

College diploma or university degree. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrable skills developing functional requirements.Have the ability to handle complex and demanding situations that may have established deadlines.Proven track record of analytical, planning and negotiation skills.Knowledge of governmental healthcare regulations. Previous experience supporting healthcare clinical and patient care systems. Ability to lead requirements gathering and design sessions with the business.Ability to document business requirements, workflow, quality assurance scenarios/use cases and turnover documents.Proven project management skills.Skilled in use of industry standard software/tools, e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, VisioSuccessful track record developing/managing software installation and conversionDirect patient care experience a plusOccasional travel required
