Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Clinical Specialist who will be responsible for dual clinical/sales role to promote location growth and profitability; for providing clinical patient services and support within the location; and for marketing core services and products to ensure referral sources receive the highest quality service.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clinical - 50-70% of the time Maintains a current and complete listing of all current respiratory patients (e.g., Respiratory Grid) Maintains an ongoing calendar listing dates of next patient contact for all respiratory patients and coordinates visits Maintains records and workspace in an organized, safe, clean, and efficient manner Provides initial contact with all respiratory patients Conducts patient assessments Provides Sleep Central CPAP Clinics for patients Provides patient education as applicable. Sales - 30-50% of the time Accountable for revenue and market share growth Accountable for achieving active and potential referral accounts and growth targets Develops a strategic plan to maintain and increase market share based on geographic boundaries and population demographics Creates and acts on a strategic territory plan Maintains account record profiles on all referral sources Monitors and acts on marketing plan, daily, weekly, and monthly reports to comply with location’s goals to manage budget and inventory Develops and maintains working knowledge of current products and services offered by the company and all applicable governmental regulations Oversees CMN retrieval process Develops detailed knowledge of important referral sources in the sales territory Develops and maintains a working knowledge of current Medicare, Medicaid, insurance regulations, and FDSA/DOT and JCAHO guidelines Rotech offers: Competitive Salary / Opportunity for advancement / Comprehensive Benefits / 401k / Car Allowance / Bonus’ / Cell Phone Reimbursement Required:  Must be licensed in primary state of home office as required by state law and provide a copy of license to the location At least two years job-related experience Preferred: Degree in respiratory therapy or related science is preferred Home respiratory care experience is preferred Nursing or other paramedical training may be acceptable depending upon state licensure laws May be required to obtain license in neighboring states as required by service area of location Job Code : 14396 Division/Department : Northcentral Travel Required : None
