Job Purpose:
Under the direction of a physician, the clinical coordinator facilitates conducting clinical research trials.
Â
Duties: Educating and maintaining the safety of clinical research participants during trial participation. Speaking to, qualifying, and recruiting individual patient volunteers from the community and physician practices to enroll in research trials. Adhering to company mission statement to provide the highest quality service to the pharmaceutical research process. Maintaining compliance with the protocol, resolving problems, and identifying system improvements. Communicating with pharmaceutical company representatives, physicians and the research study team. Conducting clinical subject visits within the study including vital signs, medical procedures, phlebotomy, assessment of medication compliance, recording medical events, as well as documenting clinical data in accordance with company procedures and FDA regulations. Maintaining patient confidence and protecting operations by keeping information confidential.

BS in science related field. Documentation, Organization, Patient Clinical Environment, Lab Environment, Research Skills, Scientific Curiosity, Strategic Planning, Process Improvement, Analyzing Information, Verbal Communication, Clinical Research, Sales and Marketing.
