Services offered by the company include pharmacy network contracting, rebate contracting and administration, mail order pharmacy facilities, specialty drugs and retail drug claims processing.  The company is one of only three in the United States to have received URAC dual accreditation and provides clinical services to help its clients provide cost effective, quality-driven results.  The company is part of Pharmacy Services group, within Enterprise Services, a family of UnitedHealth Group businesses dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Americans.   Position Description:  Clinical Pharmacist/Clinical Program Manager is responsible for management of clinical pharmacy programs and services for clients.   Primary Responsibilities:Oversee development and implementation of clinical programs including:  Clinical consulting and clinical education programs  Quality improvement involving drug therapy Disease and demand management programs  Research applications and opportunities beneficial to the plan  Coordinate and lead clinical pharmacy programs for assigned clients. Develop and maintain the Clinical portions of internal and external client planning documents Coordinate formulary management services for assigned clients including:  Plan the P&T agenda and client recommendations in conjunction with the client and other RxSol personnel Maintain formulary information in all provider and member materials and communications Oversee maintenance and distribution of formulary publications and communications Partner with other team and departmental personnel to provide information, analysis and pharmacy benefit management recommendations for the client and key employer groups.  Establish a relationship with the client’s clinical stakeholders. This includes representing RxSol on the client’s internal committees addressing medical and clinical pharmacy related issues. Address questions or issues that arise as they relate to drug therapy or the client’s formulary.  Coordinate efforts with Manufacturer Relations when developing programs and relationships with pharmaceutical companies. Qualifications:Requirements: Bachelors of Science, Pharm D. or Masters degree and post graduate training, advanced training or clinical certification program and minimum of 1 years of clinical experience; or equivalent training, education and/or experience is required. Current pharmacist license. Eligible for licensure as pharmacist in appropriate states is required.
