Clinical Nurse Specialist- Postpartum and Nursery
Job Description Imagine yourself… Assessing, promoting and contributing to the quality of nursing care administered to patients and their support systems throughout the health-illness continuum. Mentoring individual staff members in their clinical and professional development. Providing consultation to staff, management, administration and other disciplines related to their area of expertise as well as the value of nursing care within the organization. Providing input, direction and expertise in the development, operation and evaluation of orientation and continuing education programs. Partnering with manager/supervisors to provide unit leadership. Integrating relevant nursing research into present practice.
General Qualifications
BSN or concurrent enrollment in an MSN program or willingness to enroll in an MSN program within one year of employment
Desired Qualifications
Experience with patient population.
