Clinical Nurse Specialist Ortho
Are you a CNS or RN with a passion for education? Providence Alaska Medical
Center is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to oversee the
educational needs for the Orthopedics Telemetry Unit. Ortho is a critical hub
for trauma/surgery/joint replacements, etc. in the hospital. This position
functions as the expert clinician. Will validate required educational needs and
competencies for unit staff, develop unit training programs and processes, and
provide oversight of unit preceptorship program
- Up to $25,000 relocation assistance
- Up to $7,500 sign-on bonus or six month
mortgage payment*
- $36,000 student loan repayment
($1,000 per month for 36 months)
- 30-day paid temporary housing
- Comprehensive benefits package
*Up to $1,500 per month if home purchased
within three months of date of hire
Required Skills:
Successful applicants will
possess at least 5 years recent RN experience in the area of
specialty(musculoskeletal). Must possess recent Clinical Educator experience.
Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska. Masters Degree
required. CNS preferred, and must be obtained within 1 year if available. Must
be able to prioritize multiple tasks, and work with a variety of health care
teams.
