Position Description:Plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates staff development offerings, competencies and orientation programs for employees of the Cardio-Pulmonary-Thoracic unit. Collaborates with department leaders, CNS's and other educators to plan and implement educational offerings/programs/activities at the unit level, hospital level and system level as needed.Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in nursing or related fieldMaster's degree preferred, 3-4 years acute care experience in cardiac nursing.In-depth knowledge of nursing process andclinical expertise.Advanced interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate with peers, patients, and physicians.In-depth knowledge of adult learning principles.Ability to develop and facilitate educational offerings. Must have exceptional organizational skills. Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment. Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in State of Wisconsin.
