Clinical Director - sex offender treatment program

The Indiana Sex Offender Management & Monitoring Program is a collaborative state-wide system which strives to protect the public and enhance community safety by reducing sexual recidivism among convicted sexual offenders in Indiana.

The program is a collaborative effort among Liberty Behavioral Health Corporation, the Indiana Department of Correction, local parole and law enforcement agencies, and various other stakeholders throughout Indiana.

The most current information, research, and techniques from the field of sex offender assessment, treatment, and community management are utilized to accomplish the program’s mission.  The essential elements of the program include sex offender specific treatment and psychoeducation within Indiana’s prison facilities, management and monitoring of paroled sex offenders in the community, and training and education of corrections staff, parole agents, and community treatment providers and polygraph examiners.  Learn more about the program at http://www.sexoffenderprograms.com/

Liberty Behavioral Health currently seeks an experienced clinician to serve as Clinical Director for the program. This senior-level position is primarily responsible for overseeing the program’s institutional based clinical services and managing a multi-site clinical staff comprised of approximately twenty full-time clinicians.  Responsibilities also include monitoring best practices in the field of sex offender treatment and providing continuous quality improvement for the clinical program.  The incumbent will also likely spearhead an initiative to establish a clinical internship program. This position is based in the program’s central office in downtown Indianapolis and regular travel to correctional facilities within reasonable proximity of Indianapolis will be required.  Non-local applicants are encouraged to visit Indianapolis online at http://www.indy.org/

The ideal candidate will possess a Doctoral or Masters degree in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work; be licensed professionally (or eligible) in Indiana in one of the aforementioned disciplines; have significant experience supervising clinicians and managing comparable clinical services; and possess outstanding oral and written communication skills.

This position requires extensive sex offender treatment experience and knowledge of effective treatment modalities and therapeutic programming for adult sex offenders – candidates lacking this experience and experience will not be considered.

Liberty offers a competitive salary and benefits package which includes health insurance; 30 days of annual paid time off; dental, vision, life, and disability insurances, 401k, and sponsored professional development and training. Selected out-of-town candidates will receive financial assistance with interview/travel and moving/relocation expenses.

For immediate consideration, submit your resume / CV to Ian Castronuovo by email to ianc@libertyhealth.com .  For additional info contact Ian at (800) 331-7122, x 161.
