Clinical Coordinator The Physician Services Division is currently seeking a part-time, Monday - Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Clinical Coordinator for the Department of Surgery located at St. Margaret's Hospital. The oncology coordinator has the authority, responsibility, and accountability for the delivery of nursing care through the use of the nursing process. The oncology coordinator, in collaboration with Liver Cancer Center, The Starzl Transplant Institute transplant team and other health care professionals, applies competent clinical knowledge and skills to achieve quality care outcomes. Responsibilities: ·  Receives referrals to LCC and coordinates clinic visit and entry to UPMC system·  Facilitates admission or transfer to UPMC·  Collaborates with LCC team to establish and implement plan of care·  Arranges for consultations, diagnostic procedures, hospitalizations, surgeries, and chemotherapy as ordered·  Recognizes potential problems and significant changes in patients' condition and coordinates required care Qualifications:·  Three years recent clinical nursing experience·  Demonstrated competence in professional nursing practice·  Oncology experience preferred·  Diploma or associates degree in nursing·  BSN preferred We offer a variety of benefit options designed to provide personal security, convenience, and assistance to you and your family.
