Clinical Client Relationships, Clinical Program Consultant

 

This position is responsible for the following:  Serve as liaison to assigned Integrated Clinical Service (ICS) account service (Health Excellence Partners, Quality, Healthcare Management Services, Preventive Health Services, Blues On Call and Pharmacy) area.  Maintain ongoing relationship with dedicated ICS Account service area in order to keep abreast of new programs, initiatives, etc.  Responsible for communications of account specific activity with ICS.  Meet with Client Managers & ICS areas to establish action plans for accounts. Perform clinical analysis on account specific data and provide clinical interpretation on existing Highmark accounts and derive clinical observations and recommendations.  Proactively meet with Highmark external accounts as needed to provide clinical observations and recommendations. 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor Degree in clinically related field.  Five (5) years Healthcare and managed care experience. Two (2) years project manager experience with emphasis on customer support.  Two (2) years customer facing support.  Two (2) years clinical analytic, strategic thinking and execution.  Current clinical license. 

 

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrated thorough understanding of health insurance products and services.  Thorough understanding of Highmark’s ICS programs.
