Clinical Chart Reviewer

Job Description:Description: XLHealth is currently recruiting coders to perform medical records review within Care Improvement Plus' HAWKEYE revenue optimization department. This position is responsible for reviewing medical records for ICD-9 Codes which focus on HCC diagnosis capture. General Responsibilities * Accurately and efficiently perform medical record review. * Accurately identify ICD-9 Codes * Navigate through Medical Chart Tracking System. * Properly distribute documents to applicable casework file. * Follow all HIPAA patient confidentiality requirements. Requirements * Minimum of 3-5 years clinical experience. * Ability to manage and meet deadlines. * Detail oriented. * Effectively navigates telephony and technology. * Basic knowledge of Adobe Acrobat. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. * Must have excellent communication skills. * Demonstrates flexibility and ability to adjust to change. * Demonstrates follow-through on assignments. * Positive attitude, solution oriented. * Ability to receive and process performance feedback.
