Clinical Applications Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, provide system training and application support for end users.  Responsible for the design and ongoing support and maintenance of Clinical applications campus-wide.  Meets with users of all levels to determine data and reporting needs. Develop and follow application testing plans for system upgrades or enhancements and works with end user to ensure continued functionality. Works with networking and helpdesk teams to troubleshoot and maintain systems.

 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION:

1. Strong analytical skills.

2. Effective oral and written communication skills.

3. Basic knowledge of Personal Computers and printers.

4. Minimum two years experience working with healthcare information systems to include Results reporting, order entry, nursing clinical apps, and ancillary systems

5. Bachelors degree in related field preferred

6. 2 years clinical experience preferred.

7. Registered Nurse preferred
