Clinic Services Manager

Position Summary

 

Responsible for performing administrative duties, which require high level skills in the operational/supervisory functions within the day to day activities of Clinic.

 Essential Functions 

 

1. Supervises staff, evaluates employee performance, and makes recommendations for personnel actions to Administrator.

2. Reviews correspondence and answers written inquiries relating to the status of certain aspects of the clinic.

3. Answers routine telephone inquiries concerning the operation of the clinic.

4. Prepares reports and correspondence requested by a superior where information must be obtain from a variety of sources as well as making recommendations affecting aspects of office policy.

5. Periodically updates all manuals and procedural documents.

6. Manages budget for satellite clinics including: familiarity with budget format for all regular programs, prepares all administrative budgets based upon general spending and funding limits, prepares administrative budgets for program modifications, and be responsible for all administrative expenses.

7. Advises management of the program status and problems (or potential problems) on a regular basis.

8. Works closely with Quality Assurance issues to ensure compliance at clinic.

9. Handles patient correspondence, complaints and inquiries.

 Position Qualifications

 

Education

Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or three years related experience.

Preferred: Master's Degree in related field

 

Experience

Minimum: Requires 2 to 5 years experience in similar practice area.

Preferred: 7 years

Strong knowledge of management principles and practice. 

 

Supervisory Experience

5 years in supervisory or managerial positions.
