Authorize the appropriate payment or refer claims to investigators for further review. Conduct data entry and re-work; analyze and identify trends and provide reports as necessary. Moderate work experience within own function. Some work is completed without established procedures. Basic tasks are completed without review by others. Supervision/guidance is required for higher level tasks.Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; college is a plus. 1+ year experience in customer service required. 1 year data entry required. 1+ year experience with 10 key and data entry is required 1 years PC and MS Office (Word and Excel) preferred. Experience in claims processing highly preferred. Previous healthcare experience is preferred. Previous knowledge of medical terminology and coding is preferred. Prior claims adjustment experience highly preferred.
