About Our FacilityHealthsouth Lakeshore Rehab Hospital is a 100 bed inpatient facility with an Outpatient Clinic located in a suburb of Birmingham, AL. The Carraway Unit, an 18 bed unit located in Carraway Physicians' Hospital in the City of Birmingham, is managed by Lakeshore. Together they serve the needs of the greater Birmingham area and central Alabama. Job DescriptionThe Chief Operating Officer will serve as the administrative officer of the hospital and will exercise general management of the business of the hospital. Assists in the development of short and long range objectives, budgets, and operating plans for the hospital. Administers, directs and coordinates all activities of the hospital to carry out its objectives in the provision of health care and participation in community health programs. Oversees operations and the application and implementation of established policies.
