The individual must have a proven track record of prior hands-on experience in conducting assessments of the patient care enterprise, including nursing and other ancillary clinical areas.  This work includes redesigning patient care processes to improve care such that quality, safety outcomes are enhances and expenses are reduced; in depth knowledge of how to conduct productivity benchmarking assessments;  development of staffing plans; development of recruitment and retention strategies, and ability to determine and improve quality and safety issues.  The candidates should be familiar with all federal and regulatory guidelines for safety, and quality. In addition, the candidates must understand leading thought practice as documented in the literature and/or research in making recommendations which help client’s achieve best in class standards in a balanced score card approach. Related Duties: · Ability to lead an in-depth assessment and develop recommendations designed to improve operational and financial infrastructures including labor productivity and benchmarking.· Improve governance through significant reorganization and recruitment of new leadership.· Ability to analyze and eliminate inappropriate clinical practices and incorporate current knowledge of leading practices into recommendations.· Design and instruct educational programs as assigned. · Ability to present to clients in a cogent, articulate and polished manner. Experience presenting to a national audience is a good indicator of this ability.· Improve credentialing and quality review processes through design and implementation.· Ability to lead and staff performance improvement and implementation projects.   Qualifications: · Masters degree in Nursing or Healthcare/Hospital Administration or MBA with a BSN and  relevant experience.· Minimum of 7 years experience in large tertiary or academic hospital settings at the nursing executive/executive leadership level.· Consulting experience· Current U.S. RN License.· Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills and ability to independently produce documents. · Proven track record in prior operational and clinical leadership roles in large tertiary care facility or academic medical facility. Experience should be broad and include all acute care services. Experience with Home Health and Long Term Care would be an added plus.· Capacity to adapt and lead others to understand and accept values, strategies, goals and plans in response to changing business conditions. · Flexible, positive, effective interpersonal and communication skills with ability to lead and motivate others·  Ability to effectively exchange information within all levels of NCI as well as a provider based, client organization, including, but not limited to, surgeons, anesthesiologists, hospital executives, and other professional and ancillary staff· Analytical skills related to independently interpreting, preparing and analyzing budget and workload data. · Knowledge of and ability to ensure and promote, consistent, quality oriented, national leading practices, in all healthcare provider settings.·  Ability and willingness to travel up to 100%.  Preferred and Related Attributes · Experience with LEAN or Six Sigma process improvement techniques· Experience in strategic facility design and development   The company offers competitive compensation packages including an incentive compensation plan, comprehensive medical/dental/life insurance, 401(k) and employee stock purchase plans.
