Job Description:
DUTIES: Performs a variety of processes relating to billing, patient inquiries, and other various duties related to the Business Office. This individual will promptly answers/respond to phone calls/voice mails in order to accurately assist callers with questions. Will also answers/respond to customers who visit the department. Perform cash posting functions. Fully utilizes patient billing software which includes appropriate documentation, payment posting and work queues. Accurately prepares deposits, completes journals and reconciles account. Processes credit card transaction. Monitors quality of all equipment, software and reports used in the office and advises appropriate personnel of any problems encountered. Performs refund requests. Provides clerical assistance to Business Office managers and/or Director.
REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent required. Three to five years-related Clerical experiences, hospital medical preferred, in a fast paced environment required. Demonstrated competence in data entry required. Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information required. Good mathematical and basic statistical skills required. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills required.
HOURS: Monday - Friday; rotating shifts of 7:30am - 4pm or 8am - 4:30pm.
This position is located at our off-site corporate office building in Pewaukee, about 10 minutes away from Waukesha Memorial Hospital and 25 minutes from Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.
