Cardiovascular Invasive Technician
Perform diagnostic procedures and assist physician in all aspects of cardiac invasive and non-invasive testing. Duties include hemodynamic collection and analysis of parameters and arrhythmias and preparing diagnostic reports. Utilize sterile technique, operate diagnostic equipment and maintain record keeping for accurate patient identification.
High School Diploma is required. BLS certification required. Two to five years experience in Invasive Cardiology, including Coronary Angioplasty. Registered Radiology Technologist and ACLS preferred.
Waterbury Hospital is a not for profit, acute care teaching hospital located in central Connecticut and is affiliated with the Yale University School of Medicine, the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Connecticut Children's Medical Center.
