Cardiac Stress Technician
 We are currently seeking a Cardiac Stress Technician to join our team! POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of a site physician, performs various professional and administrative duties related to nuclear medicine stress testing including but not limited to: patient preparation, administration of exercise and pharmacological stress tests, and application of ACLS measures to patients when needed. Specifically, you will be responsible for preparation of patient for imaging and stress testing procedures including patient interviews, patient consent and signatures, and conducting patient teaching related to nuclear imaging procedure.  Establish Peripheral Intravenous (IV) access; set up and monitor patient through 12 lead EKG stress testing. Responsible for administering intravenous medications for pharmacological stress testing. Responsible for driving the van and moving the equipment between testing locations; Follow Radiation Safety and Department of Transportation regulations for purpose of transporting equipment, medical supplies, radioactive material and staff to customer site. Experience and Skills:  REQUIREMENTS:  Associates degree or completion of a formalized nursing or allied health program preferred. ACLS and BLS/CPR (American Heart Association). Training and experience with anatomy and physiology of the heart, cardiac non-invasive, stress testing, EKG recognition and lead placement, IV administration and direct patient care. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and decision-making skills. Ability to take initiative and work in a team and independently when required. Non-commercial Drivers License is required; license must not be suspended, restricted or revoked. Ability to lift 60lbs and push/ pull equipment up to 800 lbs. Must possess the physical stamina and agility required to operate equipment and to effectively assist patients.
