Team In Training® is one of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s signature fundraising
campaigns in which participants fundraise and train for endurance events including marathons, half marathons, triathlons and century bike rides. We are currently looking for an energetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment to join our team.
The Campaign Director, reporting to the Executive Director, will provide leadership to the staff team in the following areas:
Management of the Team In Training program for the Southern Ohio Chapter which encompasses Cincinnati, Dayton and Northern Kentucky.Develop and manage a comprehensive plan of operation for assigned events; including budgets, timelines, logistics, and marketing plans.Hire, train, develop and supervise staff in the areas of volunteer development, fundraising, marketing & recruitment, and team management, and timelines.Campaign financial analysis including, budget development, tracking and forecasting.Strategic planning and statistical research to promote growth of Team In Training in the Southern Ohio Chapter. Identify target audiences and build appropriate marketing and monitoring strategies to successfully recruit, acknowledge and retain event donors/participants. Manage and assure that media, material, in-kind and cash sponsorships are secured through a coordinated plan that includes proposal development, prospect identification, cultivation, retention and recognition.Responsible for volunteer management (i.e., recruitment, training, motivation, supervision and evaluation) required to plan and implement assigned special events. Development and management of all materials, promotional activities, events, and timelines. Inclusive of direct mail campaign.Public speaking at Society and Team In Training events. Maintain a working knowledge of the LLS mission and its programs to address them. Leads the development and implementation of other chapter activities.Performs other related duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements Include:
7-10 years professional experience. (fundraising or non-profit experience a plus)
Demonstrated staff management capabilities.
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
Solid public speaking and presentation skills.
Organized and able to manage multiple priorities effectively with close attention to detail.
Team player with strong leadership skills.
Experience with event and volunteer management.
Minimum preferred education, Bachelor’s Degree.
Skilled in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Involves some travel, as well as some evenings & weekends .
