We are seeking a Community Relations Specialist to join our Public Relations team! You will be responsible for the design and production of brochures, flyers, invitations, newsletters, booklets and posters, as well as creating advertisements to enhance the hospital's image. This person also represents the Public Relations department at various hospital committees/task forces, and will coordinate routine media visits and may act as hospital spokesperson in the absence of the PR Director or Manager. Prefer candidates with one to two years experience in public relations with an emphasis in layout/design. Requires Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Journalism, English or related field and desktop publishing training is highly preferred. Previous work experience in healthcare setting is also a plus.
