Our diagnostic spectrum includes over 300 different tests in the areas of chemistry, pathology, endocrinology, serology, hematology, and microbiology, as well as tests specific to particular diseases. Primary Responsibilities

·  Perform testing for CBCs, Chemistry panels, Urinalysis, Coagulation

·  Operate and maintain laboratory equipment

·  Monitor and reconcile pending lists

·  Specimen processing

·  Prepare specimens for shipment

·  Maintain various QA and QC records

 

Qualifications:

·  Medical Laboratory Technician, Medical Technologist, or Veterinary Technician with good general laboratory testing skills including hematology, urinalysis, and chemistry

·  BS degree or equivalent experience

·  Minimum one year of clinical lab experience in a laboratory or veterinary clinic

·  Very strong microscopy background

·  Good computer background

·  Demonstrated history of excellent attendance

·  Must be available for approximately 4 weeks of off-site training



Shift:

·  Full-time: Monday – Friday, day shift

 

 



This is an excellent opportunity for a self-directed, very dependable laboratory technician with good microscopy and time-managment skills. You will be responsible for managing all incoming specimens.
