Valley Health, a multi-entity facility serving the beautiful northern Shenandoah Valley, is currently seeking a full time Clinical Dietitian. The individual selected for this opportunity will join the Nutrition Services team at Winchester Medical Center, a 400+ bed regional referral center and heart center. Key responsibilities include providing medical nutrition therapy for patients of all ages, and providing education/counseling for patients, families, staff, and community groups. Requirements for the position include: B.S. in Nutrition/Dietetics or Masters accepted by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association; Registered or registry eligible; knowledge of enteral and parenteral nutrition, criminal background check, and a valid drivers license in good standing. Previous experience, particularly in a health care setting, is preferred. Must also have availability to work scheduled, rotating Saturdays (with call hours on Sundays), and to fulfill scheduled day shift hours on weekdays.
Valley Health is situated in Winchester, VA, a scenic and historic, family-orientated community conveniently located approximately 70 miles northwest of Washington, DC.
