Radiation Therapist, Chief

 

 

Well established medical center is offering a permanent full time career opportunity for an experienced Radiation Therapist.  The successful candidate will supervise four employees and work as a hands on manager.  Supervisory experience is helpful but not imperative.  An extremely generous benefit package is being offered.  Benefits include, but are not limited to:  top of the line medical plan with dental, vision, and a matching 401K retirement plan.

At this facility, the Chief Radiation Therapist is an integral member of the Radiation Oncology team who primarily functions in a specialized area of Radiation Therapy Technology in the role of direct patient care provider in the Department of Radiation Oncology.  The Radiation Therapist is responsible for the performance of all duties relating to the administration of prescribed course of Radiation Therapy.  The Radiation Therapist must be able to communicate verbally in a clear and concise manner to personnel, patients and physicians, and be task and detail oriented.  Most importantly the Radiation Therapist provides quality patient care in direct relation to the patient(s) needs based on age specific, diagnosis, treatment, emotional, nutritional and other identified needs.
