Business Reporting Analyst
Please note: This position is a 6 month contract-hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:Work with users to gather specifications for data and report requirementsEffectively translate end user reporting requirements into technical design documentsCreate, Maintain, Optimize and support new and existing complex reports. Conduct report testing and validationSystematically identify and define problems, evaluate alternatives and implement effective solutions Utilize various tools, such as Oracle, Visual Fox Pro, & Access to gather and analyze data from various sources, including healthcare revenue cycle management enterprise systems.Translate business requests into queries and MIS requests for data. Meet business timelines for data analysis and report generation.Meet with Leadership Team members, Managers and Teams in order to understand their data requirements and to support their needs.Work with external teams to build scorecards and models to predict future trends and to drive informed decisions.Support new and existing reporting through periodic audits, and validation of accuracy and completeness of data. Partner with MIS to continuously improve the structure and data integrity of reporting systems.
Department Description: The Business Analyst role will work within the ABF Operations and Payer Product teams to help organize, communicate, and deliver reporting and data extracts to maintain operational and business transparency across the organization.
