Business Analyst (Medicaid)

DescriptionSXC Health Solutions, a leading pharmacy information processing solutions business, is looking for a Business Analyst to join their growing company located in Scottsdale, AZ. SXC's comprehensive suite of service offerings and software-based solutions support a wide array of organizations across the full spectrum of the pharmacy supply and delivery system.

This position requires a self-starter with excellent communication and project management skills. This position is responsible for determining the business requirements of SXC clients and designing solutions to meet those needs. Position responsibilities include analyzing and documenting the business needs and detailed business requirements for a project; designing and documenting functional solutions through product enhancements or new product applications; client implementation of the final solution; and client training and support.

Essential Qualifications:

Excellent analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Stong presentation skills.
Strong business knowledge of pharmacy benefit systems, pharmacy claims processing and drug benefit plan administration.
Prior experience with relational databases.
Experience in State Medicaid implementations preferred.
Knowledge of NCPDP standards and HIPAA regulations preferred.
Prior technical background a plus.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related field from a four-year college or university.
3+ years experience in pharmacy claims processing.
