Business Analyst III, Supply Chain Data Management - 530

 

Location:  Novation, Corporate Headquarters - Irving, TX

 

Job Summary

 

The Business Analyst III will be part of the important Supply Chain Data Management Services department at Novation. This team is responsible for master data management activities that support the spend analytics work of VHA, UHC and Novation. This team is building and maintaining a robust healthcare product master, which is used to identify savings opportunities in member hospitals and to continually improve Novation's contracting services.

 

The Business Analyst III will be able to perform cross-functional duties that include all critical, hands-on activities involved in acquisition, validation, problem resolution and reporting of data.  This position requires collaboration with subject matter experts, analysts and managers to resolve data and production issues and ensure quality. This job demands the capability to meet rigorous deadlines, balance multiple priorities to achieve high levels of productivity.

 

Requirements

 

· Research and analyze vendor and product data and make decisions accordingly.

· Research suppliers, identify corporate parent-child relationships

· Process batches of product data to standardize, resolve exceptions, and import into the Product Master

 

Qualifications

 

· Bachelors degree, or equivalent

· Must have high level of attention to detail, be flexible and customer service oriented

· Demonstrated analytical skills

· Must be self-motivated with accountability and ownership of work

· Health care or supply chain experience highly desirable

· Must have strong communication and interpersonal skill to collaborate productively with teammates

· Competence with Microsoft Excel and Access
