The BIS Business Analyst supports Billing Information Systems, responsible defining business requirements, participating in business, technical and testing reviews, coordinating and executing product application training, and providing customer support for production issues related billing solutions. Responsibilities: Captures billing requirements and translate into detailed system specification documents Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on, and resolved in a timely manner Work with corporate technology team to define application scope and objectives Prepare functional and/or technical specifications from which programs will be written Communicates needed changes to development team Communicates and applies project standards Consistently delivers high- quality services to our clients Assists in maintaining systems documentation Facilitate effective team interaction Required Skills: Knowledge of GE Healthcare (IDX) Flowcast 3.0 Knowledge of healthcare billing system procedures Laboratory procedures/practices knowledge Strong problem solving skills Knowledgeable of software development life cycle (SDLC) Strong written and verbal communications skills Understands business issues and data changes Must be able to complete goals without close supervision Proficient in the use of MS Office products Strong analytical and organizational skills to set and accomplish goals Along with competitive salaries and career growth opportunities, regular full time employees who work at least 32 hours per week are eligible for Health and Dental plans, a vision plan and a 401(k) retirement plan - all of which include company contributions.
