The Budgeting Analyst will lead the annual budgeting process and the monthly forecasting updates for Best Doctors, Inc.  Best Doctors provides a unique service that helps individuals with serious medical conditions when they are most in need.  We are looking someone who will be passionate about doing that work.

 

The ideal candidate will bring strong business judgment and an ability to make things happen.  A candidate must have a strong knowledge of gaap as well as strong knowledge of financial and qualitative analysis and foreign currency transactions; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong proficiency in Excel and Word; relevant experience with financial software, preferably Great Plains; able and willing to work in a fast paced international business environment with evolving policies and procedures; ability to work independently and meet deadlines; have excellent team work and team building skills; have excellent organization and communication skills; pay close attention to detail; and posses the desire to learn and take up more responsibilities.

 

We are looking for a person who can fluidly cross functional boundaries in order to define requirements and implement projects.  The ideal candidate will be able to deal confidently with business unit leaders, translating their needs for internal reporting back to them and senior management.

 

Responsibilities:

 

The primary responsibilities are:

 Lead and ensure execution of annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting.  Make recommendations for process and system improvementsAssist with monthly transfer pricing requirementsAssist with tax reporting requirementsAssist with the monthly general ledger closeAd Hoc reporting

 

Skills and Experience:

 

The key qualifications include:

 5+ years business experience Experience in budgeting and forecastingClear and open communicatorPossess a demonstrated comfort with ambiguity; able to work independently from a high level definition of goals Process and project management oriented Action oriented – with a demonstrated focus on results Ability to perform quantitative analysis of market projections, cost structures, profitabilitySkilled in Excel, PowerPoint and Word for use in analysis, project management and communicating to internal and external customers

 

 

 

 

 

 

Education:

 Bachelors degree required, B.S. in Accounting or Finance preferred CPA or M.B.A a plus
