There's quite a distance between wondering and knowing. And for patients waiting for answers to important health questions, it's a road they want to travel as quickly as possible.

 

At Quest Diagnostics Incorporated, we understand urgency. But more than speed, we focus our energies on accuracy. Currently, we seek Full-time and Part-time Bilingual Teleinterviewers for our Lee’s Summit facility.  This individual will be responsible for completing insurance applications via telephone for a single client company.

 

Training: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm for four weeks of classroom training.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 10:00am-7:00 pm and every fourth Saturday 8:00am-4:30pm

 

 

Additional responsibilities include:Gathering medical, financial, occupational, and avocation histories. Reviewing and editing information collected during the interview for quality assurance purposes.Managing the C4 Call Management System by making telephone calls, logging call attempts, documenting information within orders as necessary, and recording call results.Responding to the needs and requests of clients and LabOne management and staff in a professional and expedient manner.Observing all compliance policies and safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Lab One Safety Manual or safety matters included in other special training.

Our ideal candidate will possess:High School Diploma or Equivalent required, some colleges courses preferred.Ability to type 30 wpm. Some data entry experience preferredCustomer service background preferredMedical terminology helpful. Previous Medical or clinical laboratory background preferredMust be able to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast environment.Must have strong communication skills.  Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.Ability to handle stressful situations and demonstrate a potential for strong problem solving skills.Must be able to operate basic office equipment.Must be able to demonstrate Integrity and a commitment to values.Fluent in reading, writing and speaking Spanish a plus for Bilingual position.
