Help Harris CountyHospital District be a leader in the Health Services industry by acting as the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who serves patients; educates patients and their families; administers medications; provides ancillary medical care; maintains patient stability; maintains patient nutrition; helps patients with daily living; keeps nursing supervisors informed; maintains equipment and supplies; performs routine laboratory tests; prepares cadavers for motuary; serves and protects the hospital community; updates job knowledge; enhances nursing and hospital reputation.
Qualifications
Spanish Language Skills
Experience communicating regular status to clients, superiors, and peers.
Listens attentively and actively.
Experience administering medication orally, subcutaneously, and through an IV.
Experience working in a hospital environment.
Works productively with others in the medical team.
Capable of performing general procedural nursing duties.
Plans nutrition programs and supervises the preparation and serving of meals.
Ability to recognize signs and symptoms of pain.
Ability to multi-task.
Builds trust and is patient and responsive to client's needs.
