Bi-lingual Medicare Orientation Representative
Looking for full-time, temp-perm Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) Medicare Orientation Representatives. Candidates must have own vehicle and be willing to travel throughout Northern NJ on a daily basis and NYC when needed. Looking for someone who is eager to work. Candidates must be energetic, reliable, and committed.
Overview:
Orientation Representatives receive a monthly list of new members that have enrolled in one of our Medicare plans. This list is used by the Representatives to contact the new members and attempt orientation visits. The Orientation Representative will be accountable for calling members, scheduling at least 6 or more appointments a day, and fully reviewing and explaining all Company's Medicare features and benefits. The Orientation Representative will be responsible for contacting their entire list each month, and then continue to focus on the harder to reach members as the month draws to a close, while attempting to make an appointment to every member on their list. At the end of the month the Orientation Representative will report to our corporate office in NYC to complete reports on the results of their appointments. A quarterly incentive program is in place for permanent employees to motivate the Orientation Representative to maximize their productivity and visits.
Occasionally a request is made by SIU or any other department that speaks to our members for an Orientation Representative to go out to clarify any questions the member may have.
All Medicare Orientation Representatives receive five weeks of training, three weeks of in-house product knowledge training and two weeks of field training when hired. In order to ensure ongoing quality, training is conducted whenever changes in the plan benefits occur. Random courtesy calls are made to the member to ensure a visit was made and that member was satisfied. Also, a site visit is conducted by Sales Operation Management also conducts periodic “ride alongs” with the representative in which a quality form is utilized during each orientation given. This form will help management evaluate the representative’s areas of needed improvements and strengths. After an evaluation is made, training is scheduled if needed.
General Responsibilities:
-Answer any questions the members may have prior to proceeding with the presentation, and attempt to resolve any issues by providing a clear understanding on the policies and procedures.
-Utilize the presentation book with every appointment; provide detailed benefits on the member’s plan.
-Verify if the member received their membership materials including their Member ID Card.
-Verify if the doctor listed on the card is the one they selected at the time of enrollment.
-Assist the member by calling Member Services when needed (ex: request an ID card, change a PCP, or a change of address)
-Provide the member with a business card, as well as the Member Services number or any other number as needed.
-Complete a minimum of 90 orientations per month.
-Attempt to retain members, reverse attitude by showing empathy/concern, being courteous, utilizing probing skills, gaining control of the conversation, not rushing or interrupting member, check understanding by summarizing what was discussed and ensuring all questions are answered.
